Old World monkeys — puzzle

Simians include a variety of animals. This group consists of monkeys and apes both larger and smaller than humans. They differ in many features, such as having a tail. By putting these puzzles together, you will get to know several monkeys and apes and find out which of them have tails and which do not.

Goal: to familiarize children with simians

Time: 15 min

• monkey puzzles attachment 1.1
• thick white A4 paper
• scissors
• laminator (optional)

• Print the puzzles from attachment 1.1.
• Cut them along the indicated lines.
• If possible, you can laminate the puzzles.
• Lay out the puzzles in front of the children to put together.
• After assembling, you can divide the pictures into two groups: monkeys with a tail and without a tail
