Family is the most precious thing for every child. I believe that the right to be taken care of is the most important factor which makes all children happy. This is why I decided to prepare a task related to this topic. This task is an opportunity to talk with your children about their own definition of a family, to answer why it is important and what are the rights and obligations of each member of a family. Additionally, it is an opportunity to talk about what RIGHTS are. Today, we have a task for you to mould a picture of your family.
WE WILL NEED:
- papier-mache
- paints
- brushes: one thick and one thin for painting details
- glue
- thick coloured paper / cardboard
- scissors
- sculpting tools (optionally)
Instruction
Apart from papier-mache, you can also use any other material suitable to mould: clay, modelling clay, play dough, salt dough or anything else you have at your disposal. I decided to use papier-mache because this is the first time we can actually use this material to complete one of our tasks. Instructions on how to prepare your work of art are as usual in the form of a video. You can see the result of our work in the photo below. Our family is not that big so the picture is quite modest in this respect. But if you have the time, feel free to depict your grannies, grandpas, cousins, aunts, and uncles as well.
