Probably everyone knows what an elephant looks like, but painting it with ease might not be such an obvious knowledge. This exercise will help in learning how to reproduce an image of this amazing mammal on a paper sheet.
Time: 15 minutes
Goal: Showing kids that painting can be easy and pleasant, fine motor skills exercise, learning to map shapes.
MATERIALS
- Picture – attachment
- Paper sheet
- A pen
Task Description
Step 1: Start drawing a head and a torso by drawing two circles
Step 2: Draw a trunk – it can be raised for luck
Step 3: Draw the legs
Step 4: Add an ear
Step 5: Draw a tail and round shapes
Step 6: Erase unnecessary lines and add an eye
