Did you know that… a football player known under the pseudonym CR7 comes from Madeira?
Cristiano Ronaldo, the person in question, lived with his parents in Santo Antonio, one of the poorer districts of Funchal, Madeira, before joining famous football clubs. His childhood home is no longer visible as it was demolished. However, you can visit the CR7 Museum, which tells the story of his life and achievements. The museum houses 126 trophies displayed in rooms paved with traditional Portuguese cobblestones.

- Long toothpicks
- Long ruler or tape measure

Task Description
It’s possible that Ronaldo often had to invent and build his own toys. Now you can try building your own mini table football game using our instructions.
1. Measure the box – this will be your football pitch.
2. Draw a line dividing the pitch in half.
3. Mark and cut out the spots for the goals.
4. Insert six toothpicks through the carton at appropriate distances: three on each side of the pitch. The first will hold the goalkeeper, the second will hold two strikers, and the third will hold the midfield players. (If your toothpicks aren’t long enough, securely join two together.)
5. Attach the cut-out figurines to the clothes clips and secure them onto the sticks.
6. Place the glass ball on the pitch and start the game!
