Instruction
Place 8 workstations around the garden or the room, at which the children will perform a simple task related to a particular Jewish festival. At each station, leave a description of the festival for the teacher (kindergarten) or the pupils (grade 0-3) to read out. Each station should also contain any props necessary to perform the task.
Divide the children into 5 groups. Each group should receive one “card of a Jewish holidays discoverer” and a pen. Ask them to get round all 8 stations and perform the tasks within 30 minutes. The children should mark off each task on the card as they complete it. The group that is first to reach all 8 stations and perform all the tasks correctly is the winner.
After the game, ask the children which festival they remember best and why.
